The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Writing and Digital Studies prepares students to excel as communicators in a digital world, where traditional writing skills increasingly merge with new technologies. This program combines rigorous training in foundational writing principles with hands-on experience in digital media production, equipping students to navigate and shape the evolving landscape of digital communication. Students develop expertise in both the craft of writing and the strategic use of digital platforms, learning to create compelling content that bridges traditional forms and contemporary formats. The program emphasizes the analysis of how digital technologies change communication practices while maintaining excellence in fundamental writing skills.

  • Evaluate digital communication from an aesthetic, rhetorical, and Christian perspective 
  • Write, edit, and proofread effective text for digital media 
  • Produce work that displays compelling digital communication skills in written, oral, visual, and interactive forms.
