SOSC 1233 Information Literacy 3 Credits An introduction to the skills needed to find, evaluate, and use information effectively in academic, professional, and personal settings. It covers research strategies, source credibility assessment, digital literacy, and ethical information use. Students will learn how to navigate library databases, analyze media for bias, and apply proper citation practices to avoid plagiarism and enhance their research and decision-making skills.
