FRSC 3104 Forensic Biology 4 credits This course introduces students to an understanding of and a fundamental foundation to forensic DNA testing. This course will examine the science of current forensic DNA typing methods by focusing on the biology, technology, and genetic interpretation of short tandem repeat (STR) markers, which encompass the most common forensic DNA analysis methods used today. Prerequisite: MATH 2203 Introduction to Statistics and BIOL 3504 Genetics Additional laboratory fee required.
