EDUC 3033 Methods of Teaching EC Math

3 credits
This course equips early childhood educators with the skills to teach mathematics through hands-on, inquiry-based activities. Key concepts include number sense, patterns, and geometry. Participants will learn to create engaging, developmentally appropriate math activities and integrate math with other areas of the curriculum. Ideal for early childhood educators and pre-service teachers, the course combines lectures, practical assignments, and group discussions. Prerequisite: Math 1053 (Spring) Prerequisite: Math competency (MATH 1053 ); Acceptance into Lock 1, GPA 2.75.
