The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership provides a broad foundation of general business knowledge along with the necessary soft-skill development and “people-centric” leadership approaches which could result in career paths beyond the stereotypical business fields. Graduates of this program will not only be business savvy but also people savvy which could provide career opportunities in communication, non-profit, public service, public relations, and any number of other fields. This program includes coursework in the following areas: ethics, human resources, organizational leadership, business communications, and management. 

Program Learning Outcomes

Students completing the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Organizational Leadership are expected to meet the following program outcomes:

  • Communication:  Demonstrate effective and empathetic Communication, both written and oral.
  • People Centric Leadership:  Analyze leadership styles and the impact on followers within an organization.
  • Ethical Decisions:  Examine the ethical and moral considerations faced in organizations.
  • Organizational Leadership Principles:  Synthesize knowledge of key business and leadership areas appropriately.
