Digital Marketing (BA)

The Bachelor of Arts in Digital Marketing combines business, marketing, and media communications in order to train students in applying marketing principles using software to create original print and digital marketing materials. The coursework in this program will prepare students to design and implement a successful marketing campaign for a variety of industries. Possible career options for students who complete this degree include social media marketing, digital marketing coordinator, sales, or other marketing fields.

Learning Outcomes

Students completing the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Digital Marketing degree are expected to be able to:

  • Display effective oral and written communication skills through print and digital media. 
  • Create content to fit clients’ needs. 
  • Assess the ethical and legal implications of choices based on Christian principles. 
  • Adapt core marketing principles to evolving circumstances to reflect the changing desires of consumers.  

Specified Core Curriculum


Students earning a bachelor’s degree must complete all Core Curriculum   requirements. The following specific core curriculum course(s) is required.

Electives


In addition to core curriculum (40-44 credit hours) and major course requirements, students must complete elective coursework appropriate to their degree. A minimum of 120 credit hours is required for the Digital Marketing (BA), including elective coursework. Students are strongly encouraged to work with their advisor to identify courses that complement their program area.
