ENGL 3033 Composition and Rhetoric 3 credits Examines the principles and practices of composing and teaching composition. Includes an historical study of English language with attention to phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and practical aspects of language grammars. Serves as a practicum in composing and assessing processes, collaborative learning, writers’ purposes, audience expectations, and language conventions. Prerequisite: ENGL 3153 Advanced Composition
