RELG 4550 Ministry Residency

variable credit, 6-12 credits
Students will gain extensive practical exposure and experience in a carefully selected and approved ministry setting under the mentorship of skilled practitioners in a total ministry immersion. After completion of at least 1 credit hour of RELG 3550  , students may choose to complete ministry field education through a robust, full-immersion 6-12 credit hour residency. (1 credit hour = 40 contact hours) Note: Students may not take more than a maximum total of 15 credit hours of practical ministry field education. 

This course is repeatable for credit.  Prerequisites: 

• Senior standing
• At least 1 credit hour of RELG 3550
