SEMR 2051 Scientific Literacy

This course is designed to support the initial development of biology & chemistry majors in skills required for research comprehension and communication while developing researcher identity, confidence, and independence. This course MUST be taken the same semester as a course with a laboratory component. Corequisite: This course should be taken with BIOL 3254, BIOL 3454, or BIOL 3504, whichever class is taken first. Chemistry majors and Environmental Science majors should consult their advisor as to when to take this course if the student does not plan to take one of the courses listed above.
