IBMT 5103 International Financial Management 3 creditsThe course examines issues in corporate finance, including capital budgeting, exchange rates and the cost of capital. Conditions for determining the advisability of direct foreign investments, international joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions are evaluated using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Students will develop a financial strategy for a hypothetical corporation desiring to expand its market in a specified country.
