NURS 4404 Evidence-Based Practice

The course explores the relationships among nursing theory, research, and practice. The learner will examine research methods and process, ethical implications and the protection of human subjects. In this course students will learn to critically analyze research, to recognize and identify evidence-based practice and promote its dissemination in order to improve patient outcomes and increase the nursing body of knowledge. Prerequisite: NURS 3353 Foundations for Professional Practices.
