PSYC 3763 Multicultural Counseling 3 credits This course will focus on counseling techniques used to serve multi-ethnic populations. Various counseling techniques will be used to help students explore the significance of culture, religion, counseling competencies and ethical practices among these diverse groups. A key component will be the standards outlined by the Association for Multicultural Counseling & Development. Prerequisite: PSYC 3713 Counseling Theory and Practice . Note: Offered on a 2-year cycle.
